US envoy wraps Pyongyang trip, says talks "useful"

PYONGYANG: US special envoy Stephen Bosworth concluded his three-day visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) on Thursday morning, saying his talks with DPRK officials were "very useful."
"It's a very useful meeting," Bosworth told reporters at the Pyongyang Sunan Airport before he left for South Korea.
During his stay, Bosworth held closed-door meetings with DPRK officials, but there had been no information on the outcome of the talks.
The talks were the first bilateral contact between the two sides since US President Barack Obama took office in January this year.
