The Fujian Museum has 15 exhibit halls in a 15,000-square-meter area with seven permanent exhibit halls for ancient civilizations, ancient porcelain, Fujian operas, craftwork, paintings, calligraphy, dinosaurs and other animals, and six temporary exhibit halls.
This is a municipal museum in the architectural style of southern Fujian and a World Multi-culture Exhibition Center site of UNESCO. It covers a 54,660-sq-m area in all and a building area of around 16,000 sq m. It has two permanent exhibits for Quanzhou History and Culture and Local Quanzhou Opera Art, as well as various temporary exhibits.
