Completing the 11-day journey in Syria, Li decided to showcase her photos she had captured through an exhibition. After nearly four-month preparation, Li's first exhibition with the theme of "A life of non-action: In Damascus" was held in Beijing's 798 Art Zone on April 15, 2018, and lasted for one week. This exhibition was divided into four parts following Li's journey route: To Damascus, In Aleppo, In Holmes and Back to Damascus. In the exhibition hall, a set of photos are embedded in white wallboard, pure but attractive.

During the exhibition, visitors from home and abroad went for a few-hour stay to enjoy Li's work. Zhou Xiaodeng, curator of the exhibition, said she received several reactions from visitors, with all of them showing their admiration for Li's courage and action and also their deeper understanding of peace and impact of war. "This aspiration of mankind to lead a peaceful life is beyond cultural differences," Zhou Xiaodeng said.
